Hey idiots! Bored and looking for something stupid to do? Luckily for you the Idiotarod is back. The photo above is a picture of my team from last year, Kraftwerking for the Weekend. You wouldn't think you would get tired of listening to Kraftwerk while dancing in a black turtleneck, but then you would be wrong. Anyhoo, the Idiotarod is kind of fun because you get to act like an idiot but also kind of lame because people make a giant mess in other people's neighborhoods and don't clean it up. Online registration for the NYC 2009 Idiotarod is now open. Registering online is highly preferred because:
1. It is cheaper. Race day registration is $40, but registering online right now is $25. The prices go up the closer it gets to race day, so register early for the best price.
2. We know how much we can spend on prizes for the winners.
3. You may actually be informed of where the start line(s) are.
4. Did we mention that if you don't register, we don't tell you where the start line(s) are? The Idiotarod is not a spectator sport. If you want to check it out, get a team and a cart.
So hit up the linky: http://www.cartsofbrooklyn.com/register.
